The battle sequences are literally one-dimentional. Distracts your attention for hours. There are also unlisted horrible flaws that I can't get into without spoiling the plot, what little of it there is to spoil. That game had an amazing English dub but you weeaboos just had to have your Japanese. Games of this caliber are much too rare nowadays.
As an I don't often post reviews but after reading what has been said on this game, I feel that I have to somewhat rectify how it's perceived. The game is around 60 hours long, with limited grinding, there are so many options that it never feels like you have to immediately upgrade your ship as alot of battles can be won with strategy alone, The fighting mechanics are a basic rock paper scissors kind of thing on a single dimension playing field but you can get fighters melee, and other combat based tricks for the fight. I can get behind this philosophy myself but it might not be for everyone. Has a bit slow gameplay, so that Really charming game, you really feel like you traveled to the unknown. Releasing in 2009 and currently bei.
Was wondering if anyone is attempting an undub yet? Play as young Yuri and command a fleet of spaceships and battle against tyrannical dictators and deadly space pirates while searching for a mystical epitaph known to have the power to change the world. If anything, the good dubs are a rare pleasant surprise, like Tales of Symphonia for example, but i will take the undub route if I can most of the time. As in, Infinite Space's combat takes place along straight lines of limited distance. The handful of tiny praise points I could give it are just trivialized by everything that is wrong. Now, if somehow you find a guy dressed as Naruto and saying dattebayo then, my dear chap, that's a weeaboo.
To briefly mention the gameplay, you play as the captain of a fleet of space ships. Changing the crew and spaceship attributes directly affects the impact of the fleet. The humour is bad to the point of just trying to use the implication of rape as a joke ala that-guy-you-try-not-to-talk-to-at-paries. The cutscenes still have english audio. If only it had been more popular when released it could have had a sequel. There's a well-seeded Torrent for the undub out there. But since I can't find my adapter I can't try it out and.
Play as young Yuri and command a fleet of spaceships and battle against tyrannical dictators and deadly space pirates while searching for a mystical epitaph known to have the power to change the world. To do so there are a wide variety of different strategies you can use, and you can fashion your fleet in very different ways depending on your preferences e. You can find alot of these faggots clogging up the forums of Gaia Online, hanging out in the international aisle of the supermarket, or crowding the manga section of your local bookstore. I'm honestly astounded that its reviews are this favourable; I felt it was my duty as a good human being to make a Metacritic account just so I could give the game the panning it so rightly deserves, and maybe warn someone who was thinking of getting it in the future. I've been wondering, are there subtitles for the cutscenes? And the spaceships almost look like they're straight out of Star Wars! After customizing a ship, the player can explore an expansive game world with a story spanning two galaxies.
It's impossibly grand in scope and runs on the least powerful of all current platforms, so concessions were made. It makes me all giddy inside. Infinite Space delivers replay value with an epic storyline containing multiple branching story arcs that weave together seamlessly to create one epic tale set amongst the stars. This latest space adventure promises high quality and intricate depth in over 70 hours of gameplay. Aside from battles, an important part of the game is the management of your fleet. You'll start out with one, and over the course of the story come to command over a maximum of 5 ships at once. Everything about it, from the core mechanics to the tiny details, it's just mistake after mistake in terms of good game design, and it spoils anything good that could be said about it.
Why do you people have to undub every damn game that comes out? What the hell is wrong with you? Distracts your attention for hours. Using over 150 blueprints, players build and customize a huge array of space ships and have over 200 crewmen to recruit. Changing the crew and spaceship attributes directly affects the impact of the fleet. But what's bad for some can be good for others, and one thing I've enjoyed about Infinite Space is that it doesn't hold your hand. The plot is very well crafted and rather complex space politics! Now, you can vote for your favorite games and allow them to have their moment of glory. The story holds the interest of the player even if the mundane battles don't. Last but certainly not least, the game's plot is absolutely brilliant.
The bosses are not as hard as they first seem, if you keep trying you eventually find their weaknesses and you will develop your own particular fighting style. You're just being a weeaboo. And it's got a pretty steep learning curve. You'll occasionally find yourself grinding so that you can buy a new ship that you probably don't need, but want. I, for one, like the English dub for infinite space as it's actually better than most every other English game with voice acting. The dialogue options are often inconsequential. There is an astounding potential for customization dozens of ships, modules, weapons, recruitable characters to assign positions in your army , and the battles themselves rely heavily on movements, weapon range and logistics, managing to retain their charm even when you hit the 60-hour mark.
Has a very good and long story. Unique tactical battle system: Decisions must be made quickly in the dramatic, action-filled battles, or enemies will get the upper hand. Let me start right away by saying that the game is austere. Has a bit slow gameplay, so that you can't recognize how long are you playing for. They use Japanese words but usually end up pronouncing them wrong and sounding like total assholes. I think that's what turned off most of the people who didn't like it. Anyone who thinks that this is a bad game should be ashamed of themselves.
I started playing once and gave up by chapter 5 out of sheer Infinite Space is honestly one of the worst games I've played in my life. The player can customize the ship with over 150 different design models, along with over 150 possible crewmembers. Its a fun and entertaining game and a really time killer Games you may like: Nominate for Retro Game of the Day: If you haven't noticed yet, we have a retro game of the day feature top-right of the screen wherein we feature a new retro title every single day!
