Their common bond is popular John Tucker, the school's star basketball player and big man on campus. Compared to other movies out this summer I think it is worth paying the day or night rate. Each of their personalities contribute to this film in a special way. Ashanti was so annoying and over the top. It's that sort of movies I watch on sleepless nights on cable given the right mood. Ashanti,Bush,and Kebbel blend together well as they team up against Tucker. Girlfriend immediately treated with a new student, and it is prepared to commit a plan of revenge. The acting was, like the film, standard and forgettable. Now Tucker is going to have to change his ways.

John's popularity may make him immune to any backlash against him that they may try to cause. Leaving aside the fact that not one member of this teen picture's cast appears remotely young enough to be in high school, veteran director Betty Thomas' light revenge comedy is surprisingly entertaining, if less than original.
